Dr. Kate Gettinger is committed to Eye Roc’s mission of providing fantastic eye care — after all, we believe that good eye health is the first step towards making the most of our never-boring frames! Experienced Eye Doctor in St. Louis
Dr. Gettinger completed her undergraduate degree at Truman State University, and her Doctor of Optometry from the University of Missouri – St. Louis College of Optometry. But that wasn’t enough for her: she also earned her master’s degree in public health from Washington University in St. Louis.
Today, Dr. Gettinger is Eye Roc’s rock, the foundation of an outstanding optical experience. And when not serving patients as an eye doctor here, she also serves people at the St. Louis Society for the Blind and Visually Impaired.

Dr. Kate Gettinger
One of Dr. Gettinger’s favorite parts of her work is connecting with her patients and creating treatment plans with their input! She’s active in passionately advocating for policy changes to address the disparities and inequalities in ocular health care. Having lived abroad, Dr. Gettinger also enjoys working with patients who speak English as a second language and learning about their cultures.
